The M82, standardized by the US Military as the M107 and sometimes called the Light Fifty, is a recoil-operated semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle developed by Barrett Firearms Manufacturing. Designated as a heavy Special Application Scoped Rifle, it is used by many armies worldwide. It has two main variants, the M82A1/A3, and the bullpup M82A2. The latter is no longer manufactured, though it was succeeded by the XM500.
