The Fairey Swordfish was a British torpedo bomber built by the Fairey Aviation Company during WWII. It was a biplane originally intended for fleet attacks, but during its later years it was also used for anti-submarine and training purposes. The Swordfish was famous for heavily damaging the Bismarck.
