For the different types of Campaign mission, see Campaign/Level Mode.

Game Modes are a method of categorizing servers based on how objectives are performed, and how Victory and Defeat are obtained.

Team Deathmatch[]

The most basic Game Mode, players are put into two teams and must aim to kill as many players as possible. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins. By default, respawning is enabled, although it can be disabled in the server settings, in which case the game will end when only one team is alive (which also happens during a tiebreaker). If every player dies in a Sudden Death, the game ends in a Draw.

Free-For-All[]

The second Game Mode, Free-For-All is every player for themself, and each player must kill everybody else. The player with the highest score at the end wins. If there is a tie, the players who tied at the top position must kill each other in a Sudden Death until only one is alive. The player who has the most kills then wins, even if dead. If there is still a tie, it is counted as a Draw for those players.

Assault[]

Assault puts an attacking team against a force of defenders. The attackers need to destroy hostile objectives to capture territory and advance. The defenders need to prevent this.
