The Panzer VII Löwe was a German plan for a super-heavy Tank developed by Krupp during WWII, dropped in favour of the Maus. Its name means lion in German and there were two variants developed (Leichter Löwe and Schwerer Löwe), but Hitler had the latter, heavier variant made even more powerful (and slower) while dropping the lighter one. The final design would have five crew members, a 1000hp engine, 140mm frontal armour, a centre-mounted turret, a 150mm L/70 high velocity gun and a coaxial machine gun, with a weight of 90 tons and a top speed of 30km/h. Some parts were used in the Tiger II.
